Exhibiting at the Artisan

From Tuesday 20 October 2015 a selection of photos from my project Coffee Harvest in Costa Rica will be exhibited at Artisan. The presented photos are part of my ongoing project to photographically research and document traditional work processes in Latin America. For the photo documentary project Coffee Harvest in Costa Rica I spend Christmas and the beginning of 2015 on coffee plantations in Costa Rica, where I followed the rhythm of the coffee harvest and the day-to-day routines of the workers. In my work I focus on photographing what I have come to call “invisible” culture, i.e. day-to-day aspects of the local culture and life that are simple routines which no longer attract much attention.
